Biography

Ramon Zenker (born 11 November 1968 in Willich) is a German artist, producer and remixer based in Meerbusch.
He began playing keyboard at 12 and early on focused on synthesizers and bass guitar.</p][p]His first chart success came in 1989 with French Kiss, released under the project Honesty 69 while he was working in a studio in Kaarst.</p][p]In the 1990s he released under many aliases and took part in several projects: Interactive (with Jens Lissat and Marc Innocent) — tracks such as “Who Is Elvis” and a cover of Forever Young —, Perplexer (Acid Folk), Celvin Rotane (I Believe), as well as commercial acts like Bellini (Samba de Janeiro) and Paffendorf (Where are you).</p][p]He produced remixes for Mylene Farmer on the singles L'instant X and California.</p][p]With the project Fragma, Toca's Miracle reached No.1 in the UK in 2000; the following singles Everytime You Need Me and You Are Alive also reached the UK Top 5. A remix of Toca's Miracle re-entered the UK Top 20 in 2008. In 2005 he remixed Cha Cha Cha.</p][p]In 1996 he co‑wrote and co‑produced the solo project Phantomas for Thomas Anders with Andreas Schneider and Olaf Dieckman.</p][p]His collaborations include work with Mike Oldfield, Paul Van Dyk, The Shamen, Scooter, Mylene Farmer, Jam & Spoon, Depeche Mode, Yello and New Order. He is involved in projects such as Hardfloor and Fragma and is co‑owner of Upright Songs GmbH.
