Paffendorf
Biography
Paffendorf is a dance and eurodance duo from Cologne, Germany, formed in 1998.
The project is mainly composed of members Ramon Zenker, formerly of the group Fragma, and Gottfried Engels; other contributors such as Tobias Lützenkirchen and Christian Schmitz are also associated with the project.
The duo had its first successes in 2001 with the singles Rhythm and Sex and Where Are You, which met with a favorable reception in several European countries.
Their biggest hit, Be Cool, was released in the summer of 2002 and became their only success in the United Kingdom, reaching number 7 in the charts in June of that year.
After that peak in popularity, the duo continued to release singles, such as On and On, which had more modest success; Ramon Zenker and Gottfried Engels also occasionally perform under the pseudonym Bellini Brothers.
