Biography
Slider & Magnit, also known as Slam DJs, are a Russian duo of DJs, hit-makers, and producers, and regular performers at major electronic music festivals such as “Sensation”, “Global Gathering”, “Dance Planet”, “Future Music Gallery”, and the “Tiesto Tour”.
They have held resident spots on dance-focused radio, including DFM, and are also associated with “Radio Record”. The duo created three shows: “Record Megamix”, aired on weekdays in cities where “Radio Record” broadcasts, built around a one-hour format mixing 100 dance tracks; “Record Club”, broadcast on Wednesdays at 23:00 Moscow time on “Radio Record”, featuring exclusives and upcoming EDM floor hits; and “Slam”, a weekly show aired on internet and FM stations in cities without “Radio Record” coverage, focused on new Deep House and Vocal House releases.
They produced the only official remix of Ivan Dorn’s song Бигуди; the remix later gained the popular nickname “Лова Лова” and became a major dance hit in Russia in 2012/2013.
Slider & Magnit are also known for collaborative work with Leningrad, Dzhigan, Marsel, Dan Balan, L'One, Quest Pistols, T9, Yulia Savicheva, Irina Dubtsova, Nastya Zadorozhnaya, Katya Chekhova, and the project “Каникулы в Мексике”.
