Empyre One
Biography
Empyre One is the stage name used by German DJ and producer Christian Beneken in the commercial electronic music scene.
Active as a producer, remixer and DJ since 2004, he signed in 2007 to the Global Airbeatz label of DJ Gollum. From 2008 to 2014 he found success with the hands-up style, performing at large clubs and festivals such as Airbeat One and the Easter Rave; notable tracks from that period include Moonlight Shadow, Dangerous and Mirrors.
He has produced numerous remixes for artists such as DJ Manian, Klubbingman, Pulsedriver, Brooklyn Bounce and Jan Wayne, and his productions regularly appear on compilations like Future Trance and Club Sounds.
Between 2013 and 2015 he collaborated closely with DJ Gollum on several singles and remixes – including The Bad Touch, Rockstar and Let The Love Shine – in an electro-house style; singer Nicco, known from the group R.I.O., features on the track Rockstar.
Since 2015 Empyre One has established himself in commercial electro-house, continuing to release original productions and remixes in that style.
