Biography

Master Blaster is a German electronic music project, primarily producing dance and hands up, a subgenre of trance.

The project was formed by producer Sascha van Holt in collaboration with DJ and trance producer Rico Bass (real name Rico Bernasconi) and trance producer Mike De Ville; the members are therefore Sascha van Holt, Mike De Ville and Alfonso Bernasconi.

The group became known for refreshing Italo Disco tracks from the 1980s; their most successful single, Hypnotic Tango, which samples the Italo disco hit by My Mine, reached the top 10 of the German Media Control Charts in 2002.
