Turbo B.

Turbo B., whose real name is Maurice Durron Butler, was born on 30 April 1967 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He began as a drummer in a heavy-metal band and became known in the 1980s for his Human Beatbox performances during concerts by the Fat Boys.

In 1990, while serving in the army in Germany, he was introduced to the Snap! project, became a member and the public face; he left Snap! in 1991 due to internal disagreements and launched a solo career, releasing a few singles.

In 1994 he joined the eurodance group Centory. In 2000, Snap! and Turbo B. reunited for a comeback and worked on an album that remains unreleased to this day.

He also recorded more rock-oriented material under the name Black Tiger with the founders of Snap!, Luca Anzilotti and Michael Münzing.
