DJ Gollum

DJ Gollum

Biography

DJ Gollum, born Lars Böge, began his career in 1993 already immersed in the techno scene. That year, in a small village club, he met DJ Hunter; after sharing a few Southern Ginger cocktails they bought two turntables and a mixer and started playing private parties, a typical introduction for many DJs.

1994 was a turning point with his first official bookings: his very first set took place at the Secret in Wedel, a venue now renamed Maxx Musichall. The same year, the artist sometimes nicknamed Master of Disaster acquired his first studio gear. His first single, Black Arrows, was released on the EDM Rec label. A few months later followed Plastic Enemy and Bulldozer.

The success of these productions opened international doors: in 1996 he performed abroad for the first time at the Nosebleed in Scotland. Further bookings took him to the UK, Switzerland and Barcelona in Spain, where he moved up to 10 000 people with his energetic, pumping sound.

DJ Gollum later held residency at several notable clubs, notably Devil Mania / EFX in Hamburg and Raveolution at the Fantasy Music Hall in Tarp.
