Biography

Jan Wayne, born Jan Christiansen, is a German DJ and electronic dance music producer, born in January 1974 in Husum, Schleswig-Holstein.

His discography includes the albums Back Again (2002) and Gonna Move Ya (2003). He is best known for a series of singles, often covers, that marked the 2000s.

Among his most notable tracks are Total Eclipse of the Heart (2001), Because the Night (2002), the cover of Only You (2002), More Than a Feeling (2002), Love Is a Soldier (2003), and 1,2,3 (Keep the Spirit Alive) (2003).

He also produced Here I Am (Send Me an Angel) (2004), Mad World (2005), Time to Fly (2006), All Over the World (2006), Time Stood Still (2007), I Touch Myself (2007), and She's Like the Wind (2007).

In 2008 he collaborated with the project Raindropz! on the single Numb, released in several versions (Numb Remixes, Numb – The New Mixes). He followed this with the cover of Wherever You Will Go (2009).

In 2010, under the title Jan Wayne Presents Marco Lovei and DVZ, the track L Amour Toujours was released. His production continued with Run To You (2011), Bring Me To Life (2011), and Free Fallin (2012).

Identified as a producer of Hands Up, a subgenre of electronic dance music, Jan Wayne is also the label manager of Cuepoint Records.
