Biography
Semitoo, real name Patrick John, is a German producer based in Majorca, Spain. He also uses the pseudonyms Patrick Will-John and DJ Power (14). His career as a producer began in 1997.
Starting from 2013, he regularly releases tracks under the name Semitoo, which often top the charts dedicated to dance music and DJs. His productions are featured on popular compilations such as Future Trance, Dream Dance, Club Fête, and Club Sounds, and he collaborates with labels like Dance Magic Records, Planet Punk Music/You Love Dance, Sony Music, and Blanco Y Negro Music.
His single Monster, in collaboration with Marc Korn and Phil Praise, was present for months on the MainStage playlist, one of the most important for dance music in Europe. On Spotify, his tracks have accumulated over 15 million streams, ranking him among the most streamed electronic producers in Spain.
A characteristic of his productions is the use of vocals from singers who have previously worked for major artists like Tiësto, Showtek, Blasterjaxx, Avicii, or Robin Schulz.
His musical style falls into the genres of slap house and hypertechno, two electronic subgenres oriented towards the dancefloor.
