Biography
The musical project Ramone is led by German Fritz Leidig (also known as Dave Ramone and Electronic Wizard). Active in the Amiga demo scene, the project is linked to Aachen and Munich.
Fritz Leidig began his DJ career in the 1990s. Under the names Ramone and Dave Ramone he released singles and remixes in the 2000s, collaborating with Arnold Palmer and Frank Knebel (alias Thomas Gold).
He produced several remixes for Swedish singer September, including the British radio edit of Cry for You, which reached the Top 5.
Other collaborators include DJ Antoine, Cascada, Master Blaster, Pulsedriver, Loona and Alex Cole.
In 2014 he founded the music agency Kickson in Fürth. In 2016, in duet with singer Minelli, he released the track Love on Repeat, which entered the German charts in September 2016 before being removed and banned for eight weeks by the BVMI after suspected chart manipulation.
