Dave McCullen
Biography
Dave McCullen, born David Vervoort, is a Belgian DJ and producer born on 28 December 1977 in Bonheiden.
He began his DJ career at 16, performing in commercial clubs. His production career took off at the A&S production house, where he met Peter Luts; together they produced numerous hit tracks and launched projects such as Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl and Roadblock. Dave McCullen is also known for his songwriting.
After years of collaboration he started a solo career, releasing singles under his own name. His first solo productions, aimed at the German market, were in a hard-style register; he later moved toward an electro/groove sound. His recent single B*TCH has been very successful in Belgium and the Netherlands and is played in several other countries.
As a DJ, he follows the energy of the crowd and uses varied playlists to get the audience moving. With long experience, he typically prepares the release of a new single for the summer period.
