DJ Wout

DJ Wout, born Wout van Dessel, is a Belgian DJ and producer.

He began making music in 1990 in his attic and ran several parties; he became resident at Carat in 1995 and at the club Illusion in 1996. In 1999, with the opening of Level, he was assigned there and, with his friend and co-DJ Regi Penxten, developed for Illusion a new style, Club & Groove.

In 1999 he took part in events such as the Milk Tour Africa and the Love Parade.

He has enjoyed a successful career as a producer, working as a remixer and co-producer for Sylver, while continuing a solo DJ career; an album is announced on AGM. His recent solo tracks are Mastermind, with remixes by Mike Koglin and Cor Fijneman, and The Truth, with a remix by Push!!

In 2004 he was nominated for Best National DJ in Belgium at the TMF Awards.
