Biography
Cash Cash is an American electronic music trio from Roseland, New Jersey. The group consists of three DJs and musicians: brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf and Alex Makhlouf, along with Samuel Frisch. They produce, record, mix, and master all their music together as a trio.
Their highest-charting song to date is their RIAA platinum-certified single Take Me Home, featuring vocals from Bebe Rexha. Jean-Paul Makhlouf performed the opening theme for Sonic Colors titled Reach for the Stars as well as the ending theme Speak With Your Heart with his bandmate Alex Makhlouf. Both tracks were later remixed for the Sonic 30th Anniversary Symphony in 2021 and then used in Sonic Colors: Ultimate the same year.
The group has released five full-length albums, a series of EPs, and singles. They also co-wrote, produced, and were featured on the charting single by P!nk, Can We Pretend. Outside of their original music, Cash Cash has made official remixes for international artists such as Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, and many others. They also produced and co-wrote the charting single by Krewella, Live for the Night.
Throughout their career, they have released a wide array of original songs in collaboration with various artists such as John Rzeznik of Goo Goo Dolls, Nelly, Wiz Khalifa, Lukas Graham, Andy Grammer, Christina Perri, Busta Rhymes, Dashboard Confessional, among many others.
