Biography
Bleta Rexha, professionally known as Bebe Rexha, is an American singer, songwriter and producer, born August 30, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York.
She began her career writing songs for other artists. After signing with Warner Records in 2013 she received a writing credit on The Monster by Eminem and contributed to tracks recorded by Shinee, Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas.
As a solo artist she released her first EP I Don’t Wanna Grow Up in 2015, achieving moderate commercial success with the singles I Can't Stop Drinking About You and I'm Gonna Show You Crazy. She followed with two EPs in 2017, All Your Fault: Pt. 1 and All Your Fault: Pt. 2, which had similar success with the songs I Got You and The Way I Are (Dance with Somebody).
She also achieved major success through collaborations in electronic and pop music, notably Hey Mama with David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and Afrojack, Me, Myself & I with G-Eazy, and In the Name of Love with Martin Garrix.
Her debut studio album, Expectations (2018), reached number 13 on the US Billboard 200, led by the single I'm a Mess. The album earned her two nominations at the 61st Grammy Awards, for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
She released her second studio album, Better Mistakes, in 2021.
