Biography
Known as jayover, Giacomo Uber is from Trente, nestled in the eastern Italian Alps. He began music at the age of ten, first as a drummer in a funk band before moving into electronic music with drum machines and synthesizers.
Joining IHU Music Group put him in the spotlight and enabled collaborations with international stars such as David Guetta, FISHER, IVE, Martin Garrix, Sean Paul, R3hab, Gabry Ponte, Sigala and Ella Henderson. Those collaborations have amassed over one billion streams on Spotify, resulted in four gold records and produced a major radio hit across Europe.
In 2022 Giacomo refocused his project on jayover with the single Talk Talk, made with Alex Gaudino and Tobtok, which found success on the airwaves in the UK, France and Italy. His deal with Mo.Da. / GEKAI led to the release of Another Night with Gabry Ponte and Conor Maynard, followed by an interpolation of the hit Barbie Girl.
The year 2024 started strong for jayover with the release of Angel in collaboration with Martin Jensen; a viral TikTok video by Chrish reached six million views and nearly two million streams in its first month. His latest success is a collaboration with Inna and Vinai, which samples Piano In The Dark, furthering his rise in the music world.
