Section 1
Biography
Section 1 is a music project founded in 2010 by D.D. Flash and Dave-8. The collective consists of members Vladimir Volkov, Alexander Golyshev, Jan Flachs, and Sergej Metelkin. Other producers have also been part of the team or collaborated closely, such as Peter Revilak (alias Peet Beck), Steve X (alias Sound-X-Monster), and Aimoon.
Their most famous single, Viva La Hardcore, was supported by artists like Nick Skitz, Crystal Lake, and Rick J. Jordan (ex-Scooter). Their original productions and remixes have also received support from Paul Van Dyk, DJ Feel, and Roman Messer, among others.
Their most successful album, also titled “Viva La Hardcore”, reached number one on the Beatport Top 100 Hard Dance chart. Throughout their career, Section 1 has released four albums, thirteen singles, and a significant number of remixes.
The group has collaborated with various artists, including Brooklyn Bounce, Axel Coon (ex-Scooter), Nick Skitz, Eva Kade, Abstract Vision, and Aimoon.
Their tracks have been released on renowned labels such as Mental Madness Records, LNG Music, and Planet Punk Music, and have been included in leading German compilations like Future Trance, Clubfete, and TechnoBase FM.
