Basslouder

Biography

Basslouder is the pseudonym of Greg Chabarot, a French DJ and producer born in 1980, specializing in hands-up.

Passionate about music since the age of 7, he received his first electronic organ at 8 and quickly demonstrated a talent for reproducing the melodies of Jean-Michel Jarre as well as various new wave melodies of the time.

With the emergence of eurodance in the early 1990s, he began using his new synthesizer to reproduce the melodies of artists like 2 Unlimited, Snap!, Captain Hollywood Project, U96, or Jam & Spoon. He then created his first megamixes for personal use on audio cassettes.

In 2000, the discovery of the video game “Music 2000” marked the beginning of a long series of remixes he would produce with this tool. The arrival of the hands-up style and FL Studio software propelled him to the rank of “official hands-up remixer,” notably thanks to his multicast remixes played in the French nightclub “Le Crash.”

Since then, he has been continuously producing hands-up remixes for various artists worldwide and signed with the label “LNG Music” in 2012.

He is also known under the name variations Bass Louder.
