Tronix DJ
Biography
Tronix DJ, real name Damien Barras, is a DJ and electronic music producer from Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, born 30 November 1982.
His passion for electronic music began in childhood — techno, trance and dance — and he learned to mix in 2002; after a few weeks he became resident at the American Pub in Sion, a position he held for two years.
In 2005 he discovered the Hands Up style, a blend of dance and hardstyle, and was inspired by artists such as Rob Mayth, DJ Manian, Groove Coverage and Special D., which he increasingly mixed.
In 2007 he started producing his own Hands Up tracks using FL Studio (FruityLoops Studio); thanks to advice from forums and support from friends, his progress was rapid.
At the same time he DJed on various webradios and became resident at Club-Musix; early 2008 he released his tracks on several labels and received remix requests — artists like Sandra Gee and Sadboy praised his technique and melodies.
After research and opportunities, he signed with PWM Records, Ill Fish, Redlight Media and is currently under contract with LNG Music.
