Crystal Lake

Biography

Crystal Lake is an Israeli electronic music project formed on August 13, 1999, by Alex Moerman and Paul Gorbulski. Specializing in harder styles like hardstyle, their unique sound fuses Hands Up, blending Eurodance and Hard Dance with elements of House, Trance, and Electro. In the studio, Moerman handles beats and sound design, while Gorbulski takes care of melodies and lyrics.

The project has used aliases such as Global Warming, Bar10ders, C-Lake, and Karma. In early 2014, their single The Right Stuff, signed to Headhunterz’ label HARDwithSTYLE, reached number one on hardstyle charts.

In 2015, collaborations with DJ Isaac on Beat As One and with Headhunterz on Live Your Life and Nothing Else Matters all reached the Beatport top 10, supported by major artists like Hardwell and Martin Garrix.

Signed to labels like Doorn, Skink, Mainstage, Armada Records, and Spinnin’ Records (since 2018), the duo has performed at major festivals (Life In Color, Mysteryland, Defqon.1). The project boasts millions of YouTube views, a radio show (Crystal Nation), and features on prestigious compilations (Dream Dance, Future Trance).
