Martin Tungevaag

Martin Tungevaag (Martin Tungevåg) is a Norwegian DJ and producer born on 9 July 1993, also known by the alias Tungevaag. He was already interested in music at the age of 13, later shifted his focus to electronic music, and started producing his own tracks.

In 2014 he released his debut single Wicked Wonderland, which became a major hit and reached the top of the charts in several countries. He followed with more successful singles, including Play and Samsara 2015, gaining strong traction in markets such as Europe, Asia and South America.

His music is primarily associated with House and Dubstep. Starting out as a producer, he also became a DJ when clubs and festivals began booking him due to the success of his singles.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a range of artists and DJs, including K-391, Alan Walker and Mangoo, as well as Kshmr, Kid Ink, Bassjackers, Blasterjaxx, Brennan Heart, Da Tweekaz, Lucas & Steve and Sick Individuals. Tracks mentioned include All for Love, Bad Boy, Dance, Peru and Play.

His work has earned numerous awards and nominations, with 127 Gold and Platinum certifications across Germany, France, Italy, Spain, India, Taiwan, South Korea, South Africa, Mexico and ten other countries. In 2022 he received 6× Platinum in India for Bad Boy, and India has been his biggest market.

He has performed at major festivals including Tomorrowland, Parookaville and Mysteryland. He has appeared multiple years in the DJ Mag Top 100, with placements cited at #92 and #73 (up eight places from the previous year), and he has been nominated for a Grammy Award.
