Biography
Sick Individuals is a duo of DJs and producers from Hilversum, Netherlands, made up of Joep Smeele and Rinze Hofstee.
Emerging from the Dutch big room house scene, they represent a new wave of talent and have become one of the most prominent names in electronic music, highly sought after worldwide.
Their music has been released on established labels such as Big Beat/Atlantic, Virgin, Axtone, Spinnin’, Armada, Interscope, EMI and Size Records. Their collaboration Blueprint with Dannic reached number one on the Beatport dance chart, as did their previous single I AM with Axwell, marking their second number one within months.
They also stand out for their remixes, including reworks of I Love It by Icona Pop, Reason by Nervo & Hook N Sling, and Right Now by Rihanna and David Guetta. Several other significant remixes are in the works, the duo spending long hours in the studio.
Their live shows, notably at landmark events like Sensation, deliver incredible energy and lift audiences to house euphoria; through originals, massive remixes and performances, they have shown their sound can ignite dancefloors worldwide.
