Biography

LTN, real name Louis Tanuatmadja, is a DJ and producer from Jakarta, Indonesia, working in Progressive House and Trance styles.

He is also known under the aliases Louis Tan, Louis Tanuatmadja, Blue Ghost (2), White Ghost, and Ghostbeat (2). He is part of the project LTN & Kokai alongside Kokai (2), also known as Kokai Ferenc.

Born in Jakarta, Louis Tan, alias LTN, first lived in Perth, Western Australia, before moving to Melbourne to immerse himself in Australian music culture. He began his production two years ago in collaboration with the well-known producer and DJ DJ Klasic. His passion for electronic music dates back to age 15, and he started mixing in 1996.

Inspired by artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, and Andy Moor, he creates tracks in his home studio blending soothing trance melodies, groovy techno percussion, and funky basslines.

He has participated in several competitions like the Rise and Ambar Club Competition in Perth, or the 3D Club in Melbourne, and has been a guest DJ on several radio stations. He signed his first tracks on the label Pure Trax Recordings and was later signed to labels like Bonzai, System, Solaris (as the winner of the “Solarstone’s Next Big Things” contest), Sonar Eclipse, and Alter Ego Recs.

His recent productions have received support from artists such as DJ Shah, Mark Pledger, Solarstone, Peter Dubs, Config, Basic Perspective, JPL, Tenthu, Andy Moor, Arnej, Myon and Shane54, and Ronski Speed.

As a DJ, LTN has performed at major events alongside renowned artists like The Thrillseekers, Mike Candys, Cosmic Gate, Kyau n Albert, Tom Colontonio, Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Sean Tyas, Ronski Speed, Nitrous Oxide, Robert Nickson, Menno De Jong, and Sophie Sugar.

His achievements include reaching the semi-finals of several residency competitions, winning the “Solarstone The Next Big Thing” contest in 2009, and nominations for the REDMA 2009 (Junior DJ Of The Year) and Paranoia Awards 2009 (Best Coming DJ).

His discography includes tracks like River Of Hope, Left In The Dark Place, and Midnight Drive on Pure Trax Recording; Conflict World, Room No Eight, and Side of The Moon on System Recording; Outer Limits and Complexity on Solaris Recording; Sorrow Winter and A Simple Plan on Bonzai Records; as well as Seven Days 24 Hours and Zero Tolerance on Sonar Eclipse Recs.

He has also produced remixes, notably for Lange (Angel Falls (LTN Midnight Mix)), Rowe (In Search Of What (LTN Mix)), ADHE (Secret (LTN Late Night Mix)), Ronski Speed (Aural Slave (LTN's Sunrise @ Park Mix)), and Above n Beyond (Lonely Girls (LTN's Sunrise @ Park Mix)).
