Fila

Fila, born Fadi Wassef Naguib, is an Egyptian producer and DJ and a member of the duo Aly & Fila alongside Aly Amr Fathalah. Regarded as the most important act to emerge from Egypt’s electronic scene, the duo first built an immense, ultra‑loyal fanbase across Egypt, from Cairo to the Sinai, before reaching a global audience.

Their energetic take on trance, characterized by precise productions and powerful sounds, has led them to perform at top international clubs and major festivals such as EDC in Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Global Gathering and Stereosonic. Their radio show, Future Sound of Egypt, also broadcasts their music worldwide.

The duo has enjoyed notable success with vocal collaborations: in autumn 2020 their long‑awaited track with Plumb, Somebody Loves, was named ‘Track Of The Year’ on A State Of Trance by Armin Van Buuren and surpassed 5 million streams on Spotify. In 2021 Aly & Fila repeated the feat by winning ASOT’s ‘TOTY’ vote again with their collaboration with Armin Van Buuren, For All Time.
