Biography
Emrah Is, real name Emrah İş, is a Turkish DJ and producer born on February 7, 1975.
Hailing from Istanbul, he began his DJ career in 1998 with the collective S&S Music Maker, founded by Suat Atesdagli and Salih Saka, where he honed his skills. He established himself as a commercial house DJ, blending house, electro house, and disco house in an energetic style that captivated crowds at prestigious venues, notably at Sortie in Cyprus and Istanbul for two years.
He quickly released his first compilation, “Sapphire Bosphorus by Emrah Is,” which became a number-one seller in music stores. His official singles, Sirtake and Istanbul Rocks, also reached the top of Turkish radio charts as well as the BeatsDigital and Juno club house charts.
Throughout his career, Emrah Is has shared the stage with many international electronic music figures such as Bob Sinclar, Martin Solveig, David Vendetta, Roger Sanchez, Alex Gaudino, Milk'n Sugar, Global Deejays, Tom Novy, Claude Challe, Outwork, Benassi Bros., Yves Larock, Ian Oliver, Morandi, Tanto Project, and Gary Niste Pine.
