Biography
Chris van Dutch is a Dutch‑German music producer and entrepreneur, recognizable by his hoodie‑centered style and heavily influenced by 90s dance. He has more than twenty years of experience in the music industry.
His main project, Tough Stuff! Music, has become one of Germany’s most visible independent dance streaming brands, specializing in commercial dance. The label has released tracks by established artists such as Dynoro, Hbz, Harris & Ford, Noisetime, Jerome, Pazoo, Juicy M, Peter Wackel, Honk!, Anastasia Rose, Hr. Troels, Crystal Rock, Kaluma, Bodybangers and JKRS. All projects associated with Chris van Dutch have generated more than two billion audio streams since 2020.
He reached the German sales Top 100 for four consecutive weeks, peaking at number 62, thanks to his collaboration with ‘MXM’ on a cover of ‘Major Tom’. As a label owner and manager, he also received an official IFPI gold record for ‘Lambada’ by Hr. Troels.
His other past EDM projects include Tale & Dutch and Commercial Club Crew, active between 2003 and 2020.
