Commercial Club Crew

Commercial Club Crew

Biography

Commercial Club Crew is a German dance and hands-up project formed at the end of 2003 by producers Frank LaVerne (Frank Nanninga) and Chris Van Dutch (Patrick Scholl). Two months after its founding, Frank LaVerne left the project for personal reasons and was replaced by Rick Tale (Henrick Münchow). Since then, the duo Chris van Dutch and Rick Tale has formed the core of the project.

Chris van Dutch, born Patrick Scholl, was born on 29 February 1980 in Aachen. After a period as a DJ, he worked as a promoter for the label Andorfine until the end of 2007.
Rick Tale, born Henrik Münchow on 24 February 1984 in Kiel, launched several projects after his Abitur in 2003 and produced his first remixes and releases. Alongside Commercial Club Crew he produces for his personal projects “Age-M” (trance) and “Rick Tale” (hands up).

The project established itself as one of the important names in the hands-up scene. Their singles, such as Diggers Song, My Sound (feat. Cc.K), La Luna, La Isla Bonita and Toy Soldiers, achieved real success on the dance floors.
In particular, La Isla Bonita reached the top 10 of the German Media Control Dance Charts (ODC) and became an international hit.

Their recognition in the electronic scene is also evidenced by their many remixes for renowned projects such as Discotronic, Akira, Loona, Central Seven, Cascada, Andrew Spencer or Axel Konrad.

Since 2006, Henrik Münchow and Patrick Scholl have held DJ residencies in renowned clubs across Europe and performed on tours in countries like Denmark, France, Hungary, Estonia and Austria.
