Biography

4 Elements is a German hardtrance music project with a powerful, melodic sound. The group brings together singer and frontwoman Romy, supported on stage by her dancers, and the DJs/producers DJ Gollum, DJ Yanny and D.K.Booth.

The track Turn Up The Bass, created by this collective, is described as a brilliant club hit; the group’s music is known for its irresistible hooks.

Before forming 4 Elements, the three producers already had extensive experience and worked together on projects such as Neo Cortex and DJ Yanny pres. Terraformer.

DJ Gollum began his DJ career in Hamburg in 1994. As a producer he launched numerous projects and released more than eighty records, including Lars Palmas, Gollum und Yanny, Shithead, Bassriders, Cosmic Commando and Atomic Junkies, and he has produced remixes for Scooter and Special D..

DJ Yanny started DJing in Hamburg in 1992 and became a resident at several renowned clubs, including Devil Mania. As a producer he collaborated with Paragod and Gary D., reached number one on the Dutch dance charts with the project Luna System, and is known for his compilation series Energy Trance.

D.K.Booth has been a composer and studio musician for fifteen years. His first major trance project was Neo Cortex, founded with DJ Gollum and DJ Yanny. Their track Elements was played on MTV and VIVA and reached the top 10 of the DDC. He is also part of the DJ teams of Neo Cortex and Terraformer.
