Biography
Ruben de Ronde, full name Petrus Ruben de Ronde, is a Dutch DJ and producer born on August 16, 1982 in Gouda, near Rotterdam, and based in Overveen.
His musical style blends trance, house, and progressive. He founded his own digital trance label, Statement! Recordings, in 2005. He also holds a position in the Promotion & Licensing department of the major label Armada Music.
His production career took off in 2008 with his first solo track, ‘Republique’, which reached the Beatport Top 20 and was praised by DJ Mag. Since then, he has released numerous productions, such as ‘Noir’, ‘Forever In Our Hearts’, and ‘Superlative’, a collaboration with Robert Nickson released on Armin Van Buuren‘s A State of Trance label. He is also the creator of the anthem Destination (A State of Trance 2024 Anthem).
Ruben de Ronde is also known for his many remixes for leading artists like Cosmic Gate, Way Out West, Push, Aly & Fila, W&W, and Sean Tyas. His productions are supported by major names such as Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk, Tiësto, and Markus Schulz.
Alongside his productions, he hosts a radio show called ‘The Sound of Holland’, broadcast twice a month on Afterhours.fm and once a month on Sirius XM. The show features a ‘Blog Burner’ segment where listeners can vote for their favorite track.
Under the alias NRG2000, he explores other facets of electronic music.
