Biography
DJane HouseKat is a German singer and DJ, born in 1987 in Ingolstadt, who specializes in electronic and techno music.
Her real name is Kathrin Kohlhepp, and she has also performed under the alias DJane Candy.
She gained international recognition mainly for the dance hit My Party, released in January 2012 and featuring British rapper Rameez; the track was produced by Axel Konrad and incorporates a sample of the classic Let's All Chant. It quickly became a club hit and charted in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Scandinavian countries, and its use as the promotional song for Pro Sieben’s “Comedy Dienstag” in April propelled My Party into the Top 5 in Germany and Austria the following week.
