Biography

Vika Jigulina, born Victoria Corneva, is a DJ, producer and vocalist. Born in Cahul, Moldova, she grew up in Moscow and graduated from the “Rahmaninov” music high school. In 2000 she moved to Romania to study at the University of Timișoara.

In her free time in Timișoara she began DJing in several local clubs and became a resident at Discoland. Her many performances across the country led her to settle in Bucharest; a regular presence on DEEA radio helped her gain national recognition.

She later became a resident for VIBE FM’s weekly radio show and took part in major events such as Liberty Parade (2007,2008), House Parade (2006), the VIBE FM Launch Party (2008) and the “I Love Music Tour” across Romania’s top clubs.

She has shared stage or decks with international artists like Steve Murano, Tomcraft, ATB, DJ Dox, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, as well as many Romanian artists. In 2009 she achieved international success with the release of Stereo Love, in collaboration with Edward Maya.
