Biography
Sebastian Ingrosso, full name Sebastian Carmine Ingrosso, is a Swedish disc jockey, music producer, and record label owner, born on April 20, 1983 in the parish of Nacka (Stockholm County).
A central figure in the Swedish electronic house scene, he is internationally recognized as a founding member of the collective Swedish House Mafia with Axwell and Steve Angello. This trio, initially a joke, formalized its name and dominated global charts.
Outside the group, he collaborates closely with Axwell under the name Axwell Ʌ Ingrosso. His work with Steve Angello and Axwell has also spawned various projects and pseudonyms such as Buy Now, Fireflies, General Moders, Mode Hookers, Outfunk, and The Sinners. He is also known under the aliases Fatz Jr and 2 Boys In A Red Room.
He founded and runs the Refune label as an A&R manager. His influence was acknowledged by his direct entry at 25th place in the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2009, earning him the “Highest new entry” award.
His musical style primarily encompasses house, progressive house, and electro house.
