Luca Testa
Biography
Born in Turin, Luca Testa first developed an interest in piano before establishing himself as an electronic music producer and later a DJ in Italy and abroad. His career includes releases and signings on labels such as Dim Mak (Steve Aoki), Panda Funk (Deorro) and Cr2 Records.
As a producer, he aims to blend electro with progressive house elements, focusing on club-ready tracks. He also holds two diplomas as a sound engineer, a background that supports his studio work.
Chart-wise, Guzs reached #18 on the overall Beatport chart. People Are You Ready hit #35 on the electro house chart, while Keep On Rockin (#55) and Bender (#65) appeared in the progressive house rankings. Earlier on, Get Away drew attention by reaching #5 on the Trackitdown overall chart.
His records have received support from artists including Hardwell, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki, Nervo, Zedd and Bingo Players, notably at the inaugural EDC Las Vegas. He was also noted for a bootleg of Red Light, aired on Danny Howard’s show on BBC Radio 1.
In Italy, he has appeared at festivals such as Reload, Holi, Global and Imagine Music Festivals alongside Dvbbs, Nervo, R3hab, Tony Junior and W&W.
