Biography
Li-Ann, whose real name is Lianne Lucia Van Groen, was born on 17 March 1985 in Zaandam, the Netherlands.
Her music career began in 2004 when she joined the female project Raffish, formed after the reality TV show Popstars The Rivals. The group featured Esri Dijkstra, Eva Simons, Nora Dalal and Sharon Doorzon, and released the single Plaything. In 2005, Raffish recorded the charity single Als Je Iets Kan Doen to support victims of the tsunami in Asia.
After Raffish split in 2006, she pursued a solo career. She released Friday, produced by Regi and Filip Vandueren, which entered the Vlaamse Ultra Top 50. In 2007 she issued another single, Pop The Cherry, built on the melody of Pump The Music.
In 2010, Li-Ann joined Twenty 4 Seven as the new singer, alongside Sharon S (aka Miss Cherry) and later Stay-C. She left the group in 2021 during her pregnancy, returned in 2022 with Stay-C, and in December 2022 announced she was pregnant again.
In 2025, Li-Ann and Stay-C divorced. In 2026, she became the new singer of 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor following the departure of Des'ray.
