Chris Nitro
Biography
Chris Nitro, also known as Christoph Werner, has been passionate about music since childhood. In the mid-1990s, at age 15, he began mixing his own tracks and developed a strong attachment to the sound of the 1990s, alongside an interest in producing his own music during that period.
He has worked for the electronic radio station sunshine live since 2003, gaining extensive event experience and actively contributing to hundreds of events. In 2013, he came up with the concept for the annually sold-out Sunshine live DIE 90ER LIVE ON STAGE, described as Germany’s biggest 90s indoor party, helping to set the 90s boom in Germany rolling again.
On sunshine live, he has hosted his own show Back 2 the 90s since 2016, and since 2021 the car-focused show sunshine live Motors. His musical approach combines Progressive House and Dance with a 90s-inspired touch, while also embracing current sounds.
