Biography


MNFLD, stage name of Philipp Haeger, is a German electronic music producer active since 1999.

Born 13 February 1981 in Wuppertal, he discovered electronic music at 14 at the Barmer Bahnhof in Wuppertal. In 2000 he shared a studio with friends in his hometown and began working on his own tracks; in 2002 he pursued a solo career to seek a record deal.

Alongside Dennis Kramme he launched and participated in numerous projects and aliases — Mainfield, Mainbrain & Somville, Solar Patrol, Klubbstylerz, Candy Boyz, Straight Flush, Sergio Ramos, Funky Bootz and Phil Valley — contributing to the pop/trance/dance scene through productions and collaborations under these monikers.

Since 2004 he has been credited on 43 remixes for artists such as Pulsedriver, Cascada, Klubbingman, DJ Dean, Bangbros, Alex Megane vs. Marc Van Damme, Rob Mayth, Space Pitcher, Liquid Spill, Ole Van Dansk, The 2 Jays, 200 Grad and Marc Korn.

In 2007 he released his first compilation, Masters of Dance, commercially available.
