Biography
NERVO is a duo consisting of twin sisters Miriam Nervo and Olivia Nervo, born on February 17, 1982 in Melbourne, Australia.
Before their DJ career, Mim and Liv were songwriters, working with artists such as Kylie Minogue, Nicole Scherzinger, and Armin Van Buuren. Their breakthrough came in 2009 when they co-wrote the worldwide hit and Grammy Award-winning track When Love Takes Over for David Guetta.
This success launched their DJ career. They debuted in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list in 2012 (rank 46) and climbed to 16th place in 2013.
Their energetic, catchy electro-house sound conquered clubs worldwide. They have done remixes for artists like Katy Perry and have produced number-one charting tracks.
Signed as artists, they worked on their first album as songwriters, composers, and producers. Their stage presence as a DJ duo is in high demand, leading to performances at major festivals and residencies in Las Vegas.
Based in London but traveling the world, they also collaborated with Kesha and the Pussycat Dolls during their songwriting phase, solidifying their reputation in the industry.
