Calmani and Grey

Calmani and Grey are a duo made up of German producers Axel Jäger (alias Alex Megane) and Sebastian Wernke-Schmiesing (alias Marc Van Damme). They handle production, arrangements and the project’s artistic direction.

CALMANI & GREY do not want to be tied to a single EDM style – they select the perfect style for each track to make everything work together.

Their single Tattoo, released on the well-known label TRAP NATION (Lowly Palace), surpassed 2 MILLION Spotify plays in a few weeks. The single Can't Let you Go was released on Kontor Records / Aramada Music. Besides official releases, they continuously produce private remixes of current songs by other artists such as Kygo, Robin Schulz, Steve Aoki & Felix Jaehn, Zedd & KEZHA, Maroon 5 and more.

Undeniably one of Germany’s most notable production teams at the moment, their SoundCloud channel was created recently and has been gaining followers steadily.

They have received strong support from names like the Chainsmokers, DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE and TIGER LILLY, signaling recognition within the scene. More festival appearances and broader radio exposure are expected in the future.

Calmani and Grey have been active in recent years: touring Europe (including Balaton Sound Festival and Bootshaus in Cologne) and focusing energy on production. Own tracks like 100 Degrees (with Dubdogz and Seb Mount), Too Many Chances, as well as their versions of classics such as Superstar, With Every Heartbeat and To The Moon and Back have reached several million streams. Since 2016 they have accumulated over 18 million Spotify streams and more than 4.5 million listeners, with support from DJs like Tiësto, DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE, Hardwell, Timmy Trumpet and Nicky Romero.
