Biography


Roberto Turatti, born in Milan on April 24, 1956, began playing drums in 1972. He founded the group Decibel with P. Mancini, S. Longhin and Enrico Ruggeri; their first album “Punk” was released in 1978. In early 1979 he started DJing at the Milan club American Disaster.

In 1983 he produced, together with Miki Chieregato, the first record for Den Harrow, the track To Meet Me, which launched a long collaboration. From 1983 to 1988 Turatti and Chieregato wrote and produced numerous international Italo/dance hits for Den Harrow, Albert One, Tom Hooker, Fred Ventura, Eddy Huntington, P. Lion, Joe Yellow, Styloo and Vvanne.

In 1989 he founded the N.T.M. production with Mario Natale and Silvio Melloni; until 1994 this team produced many hits for Papa Winnie, Francesco Salvi, Jo Ring, Sabrina Salerno, Secchi and Co. Ro., and also produced singles for Xeya and Vangelo.

In 1998 he founded All I Really Want Ed. Mus Production with Silvio Melloni and Gino Zandonà; until 2001 they produced hits for Kim Lukas and A.C. One.

In 2001 Roberto Turatti launched the Definitive Records label.
