Biography

Lunax, whose real name is Ann-Jaqueline “AJ” Fischer, is a German music producer and DJ, born on 27 March 2002 in Hamburg.

Before her music career, she was a several-time German kickboxing champion in her youth. She turned to music production through friends and sent her first demos to various labels.

Her first single, Take on the World, was released on 13 March 2020 in collaboration with producer Tim Willgeroth aka Tmw, on the Hamburg-based label Beat Dealer Records. This was followed by other singles on the same label, such as Wicked Game, Hold You and Stuck in a Dream, and she later joined Beat Dealer Records’ management.

Also in 2020, she released Stay Low with Lanne via the Future House Cloud label, and produced Safe & Sound with the Dutch producer/DJ duo Huts and singer Mary Jensen.

From February to April 2021 three new singles were released with the Hamburg label Kontor Records. At the same time, she compiled and mixed the third CD of the dance compilation Kontor Top of The Clubs Volume 89, which reached number one on the German compilation charts.

With Kontor Records, Lunax made her first stage appearance at the Kontor Jubilee in March 2021 as a streaming event. Other performances followed, such as at Le Shuuk (Shuukland powered by World Club Dome) and in the 48-hour live stream of Justin Pollnik. She also hosted regular DJ radio shows on bigFM and Energy and performed TV sets for DJ Night Deluxe on Deluxe Music.

In May 2021 she released her first EP, Slap House Party, and released further collaborations with artists including Moti, Marnik, Lizot and Mike Candys.

Her first performance in front of a live audience took place in summer 2021 at “Summer Break Island 2021” at the Noa Beach Club in Zrće, Croatia.
