Roman Messer

Roman Messer is emerging as a new star on the trance scene, whose shine continues to grow.

Originally from Russia, he built an impressive career in just a few years. His first major hit, Come Home, was included on the compilation Magic Island vol. 4 at the end of 2012. Since then his tracks have been released on respected labels such as Trance All-Stars, Euphonic, Black Hole and Armada, both as singles and on compilations.

Guided by his vision of the trance sound, he runs the Suanda Music label and serves as A&R for one of Russia’s most recognised trance labels, TranceMission. Suanda Music releases quickly caught the attention of trance listeners and received support from renowned DJs like Markus Schulz, Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren, the latter even naming a track “Tune Of The Week” on his show A State Of Trance.

In November, the first volume of what is intended to be an annual compilation series, titled “Suanda History”, was unveiled exclusively by Russia’s number one DJ, DJ Feel, on Radio Record.

As a DJ, Roman Messer regularly performs at trance festivals across Russia, sharing stages with artists such as Chicane, Christian Burns, Estiva and DJ Feel. The “TranceMission” festival has been a highlight of his career, and in Saint Petersburg he frequently headlines clubs, ensuring the dancefloor never goes quiet.

The year 2014 looks even more promising: in January he presented a collaboration with British singer Christina Novelli titled Frozen, and an official remix of the future classic [song]Lasting Light[/song] featuring the voice of renowned Emma Hewitt. He is also working on numerous other projects with Ridgewalkers, Aurosonic, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Yuri Kane and others, for co-productions, remixes and arrangements for his label.
