Pedro Del Mar

Pedro Del Mar is the stage name of DJ and producer Patrick Shah, originally from Stuttgart, Germany. He specializes in Balearic and progressive trance.

He is the brother of DJ Shah, with whom he forms the duo known as “Shah Brother”. Together, they founded the label Club Traxx ! Rec. as well as the brand Melo Stripes. Their joint company, Shah-Music, encompasses several labels, a publishing house, a booking agency, and a production company.

Pedro Del Mar is a significant figure in German radio, particularly on the station Sunshine Live. He hosts two shows: “Melomania”, a four-hour program highly influential in the dance scene, and “Global Mix”, where he broadcasts sets from top international DJs. These shows have placed him among the five most popular radio hosts in Germany in his field.

His producer career is marked by releases in over 60 countries. His solo track Harder?! achieved international success, charting in dance charts and even in sales charts in the United Kingdom. It was released on prestigious labels like Black Hole, Zomba, and JVC Victor.

In addition to his personal productions, he creates remixes for major artists in the trance and electronic scene such as Armin Van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Three Drives, or Hemstock & Jennings.

Under different aliases, he explores other facets of electronic music. He is also known as DJ 2 L8, Pedro Del Riccardo, Patrick Shah, Patty (24), and Pacific Bay. Variations of his main name include Del Mar, P. Del Mar, PDM, and simply Pedro.

Shah-Music labels, like Shah-Records and Club Traxx ! Rec., have released tracks played by renowned DJs such as Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, and Cosmic Gate, consolidating the influence of the company and the Shah brothers on the global trance scene.
