Biography

Neev Kennedy is an Irish singer-songwriter born in 1989 in Loughrea, County Galway.

She gained popularity by broadcasting performances from her bedroom via the internet, notably on the Livewebstars.tv platform, which allowed her to build a fanbase. Her song Gullible became an internet hit and reached number 35 on the Irish charts.

Her voice features on several electronic music tracks, including the 2010 single Sun in the Winter by Max Graham, as well as on Anywhere But Here (2011) and So caught up (2011) by Ørjan Nilsen. These tracks were played on shows like A State Of Trance with Armin Van Buuren and Global DJ Broadcast with Markus Schulz. She also collaborated with 4 Strings on the 2013 single This Heart Is Yours.

In 2010, she became the first winner of the online song contest Youbloom, judged by Bob Geldof, Rupert Hine, and Nigel Grainge, with her song 10 Times. She performed with her band at the Youbloom awards ceremony in London in February 2011.

She currently resides in Dublin.
