Biography
Marc van Linden is the stage name of German producer and DJ Frank-Michael Helmedach, based in Hanover.
His career began in 1996 with signings to various German independent labels. He is known for club hits such as AM 2 PM, Forbidden Love, and Until Monday, supported by global DJs like Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, and Tiësto.
In the early 2000s, his remixes, including for Starparty – I'm In Love, Free Spirit, and Juicy, as well as for the Vandit Records label, boosted his international recognition.
In 2004, he founded his own label, Midway Records. His first album, My Way, was released in September 2007 and features collaborations with Giuseppe Ottaviani, Greg Downey, De/Vision, Matys, and Funabashi, blending electro, trance, and progressive sounds.
As a DJ, he has performed at major events and renowned venues such as Turnmills/The Gallery and Ministry Of Sound in the UK, Loveparade, Womb in Tokyo, Vandit Night in Berlin, and Eden in Ibiza. His tours have taken him to the USA, Japan, Australia, China, Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, Sweden, and Poland.
He uses the aliases Framic, Mavali, Liquid Noize, L-A Styles, and Franky Roof. His real name, Frank-Michael Helmedach, is also listed as an alias.
