Loredana
Biography
Loredana De Amicis began her music career in 2002, at age 16, lending her voice to the track Ride The Rocket.
She took singing lessons with coach Carina Clerinx and competed in many contests under the stage name Milla Rhei, notably Pour la Gloire (RTBF), De Gouden Micro and the Sanremo Dopo Festival.
In 2005 she sang backing vocals for DJ David on his cover of Tony Di Bart, Real Thing.
In 2008, together with Viola Furleo, she became one of the two new lead singers of the group 2 Fabiola.
In 2010 she left 2 Fabiola to go solo: as Milla Rhei she toured with a band called Show en Akt, formed with Beate and Alex, performing soul and disco classics.
She returned to 2 Fabiola in 2012 and, from the 2013 track Fire Inside, was the only featured voice on the group’s singles.
In 2013 she took part in The Voice van Vlaanderen and was chosen by Natalia Druyts.
In 2016 she released her first solo single, Ochtendzon.
In 2017 the singles Dichterbij and Vanavond Gaat Het Down were released, and she provided vocals on Nico Parisi’s remix of the classic Unlovable.
In 2019 she unveiled the single Vuur & vlam.
In 2020, after surgery to remove a mass from her neck, she postponed the release of Ti Sento, which was finally published in February; the following single was La Bambola.
In October 2021 she released the single On My Mind, a duet with classical pianist Daniel Verstappen.
In 2022 her next solo single was to be titled Dreamers. She and Pat Krimson, long-time partners, announced their upcoming marriage.
