
Linda Rocco
Biography
Linda Rocco is a singer, songwriter, vocal artist, and vocal coach born on June 19, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio. Of Italian and Lebanese descent, she is based in Germany.
She is known for singing, with her twin sister Jodie Rocco, all the female backing vocals for Milli Vanilli’s songs in the late 80s and early 90s. She also sang for stars like Michael Jackson, Michael Bolton, Backstreet Boys, and N'Sync, and toured as an opening act for the Bee Gees and DEEJAY FAMILY.
She was involved in numerous Eurodance and trance productions, notably on the track Power of American Natives which she also co-wrote. She participated in several Eurodance projects such as On T.V. (on the single Just A Dream), A.B. Free, Paternoster (on On Earth As It Is In Heaven), and Masterboy.
She replaced Beatrix Delgado as the lead singer for Masterboy until 1999, contributing to five singles and the album Colours (1996). She also released a solo single titled Fly With Me in 1995.
Linda Rocco performed backing vocals on La Bouche‘s debut album, Sweet Dreams (1995), on the tracks I'll Be There and Poetry In Motion. She also appeared on American pop-rock singer Bobby Kimball’s (formerly of Toto) album Rise Up (1994).
She is married to Georg Liszt and works with him as co-owner of their vocal school, the Scream Factory, founded in 1993.
She returned to the music scene with powerful dance tracks under the German label Dmn Records, such as You Make Me Feel Good in 2017, Take Me To The River in 2018, and Matter Of Time in 2020. She also collaborated with dance rapper Zooom and producers Eurotronic & Myko Tank on the single Booom Booom Baby in late 2021.
Linda Rocco is also the singer for the world pop band Fayoum Blue.
