
Kelly Llorenna
Biography
Kelly Llorenna is an English dance music singer, born in 1975 in Upminster (Greater London) and raised in Oldham.
She began her career in 1993 as a member of N-Trance, lending her vocals to Set You Free, which, after several reissues, reached the UK top 5 in early 1995.
In 1995 she launched a solo career with the single Brighter Day, which narrowly missed the UK top 40. In 1997 she rejoined N-Trance for their cover of Rod Stewart‘s Da Ya Think I'm Sexy, which entered the top 10; she also sang on their versions of Paradise City and Shake Ya Body, inspired by Jackson 5.
In 2001 she collaborated with Flip and Fill on True Love Never Dies, which became a top 10 hit after its 2002 reissue. In 2002 she released her debut solo album All Clubbed Up, featuring her best-known tracks, including a cover of Tell It To My Heart that reached the top 10 in October 2002, and a new version of Heart of Gold, originally recorded with Force & Styles in 1998.
In 2004 she reached the UK top 15 with a cover of Donna Summer’s This Time I Know It's For Real, and she continued to appear and collaborate on EMAP’s Big City Network and 97.6 Chiltern FM between 2004 and 2006.
More recently she has continued her solo work with the All Around The World label, releasing tracks associated with the Clublands compilations such as I Will Love Again, Dress You Up and Keep Love Together, becoming a respected name in club music.
