Biography

Justine Suissa, full name Justine Simone Freha Suissa, is an English singer-songwriter from Sutton Coldfield now living in London.

She became known to trance audiences in 1999 when her voice was featured on the track Autumn Tactics, from Chicane’s successful album Behind the Sun. In 2000 she toured with him, performing from New York to Ibiza and Glastonbury, contributing to the album’s success in the charts and in clubs across five countries.

She is best known for her work with the trance group OceanLab, a project formed in 2001 with the trio Above & Beyond. OceanLab quickly reached number one in the European dance charts in its first year and placed singles on various charts, including in the United Kingdom.

Justine Suissa has also collaborated with some of the world’s most popular DJs, such as Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Robbie Rivera. In July 2003 she was voted best trance vocalist by the website Trance.nu.
