John Puzzle
Biography
John Puzzle, real name Adrian Ionuţ Radu, is a Romanian DJ and producer born in Râmnicu Sărat in the summer of 1982.
His passion for music emerged very early, at the age of four, when he played drums with spoons on a table. He began piano lessons at seven in his hometown and continued this training until high school. It was during this period that he discovered electronic music creation via computers and synthesizers, a revelation that definitively steered him towards house, techno, and trance genres as his preferred means of expression.
After working in several studios in Romania and collaborating with recognized local producers, he founded his own studio in 2002. There, he produced at least seventy artists, several of whom reached number one in the Romanian charts.
His career is also marked by projects signed with international labels such as Universal Music UK and Mach 1 (MOS). These projects, realized in cooperation with Level K (Frank Knebel) and signed with the help of DJ VooDoo (from the duo Voodoo&Serano), were remixed by names like Gabry Ponte, Angel C, Potatoheadz, Jean Elan, DJ Raoul, and again Level K.
Since June 2007, John Puzzle has focused on his studio work, producing new tracks for his own project. A trained pianist, he is naturally drawn to pure melody and soft sounds, elements that define his style and contribute to the original and catchy character of his productions. He also uses the alias Ionuț Radu.
