Jay Mason
Biography
Jay Mason is a Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter from the Netherlands. Influenced by his father, he started playing Nirvana songs at the age of 10. His passion for music fully emerged at 17, when he wrote his first tunes while playing in a Metal band with his younger brother and two cousins.
After graduating from the Academy of Popular Culture in Leeuwarden, he set out to go deeper into songwriting and began co-writing sessions across the country. This led to writing vocals for Dance music in 2019. Daily studio work has resulted in numerous releases that have already surpassed half a billion streams worldwide, including songs with Don Diablo, deadmau5, Kaskade, Dynoro, Kshmr, Tungevaag, Blasterjaxx, Brooks and Brennan Heart. He has grown his audience through diverse songwriting and is known for his vocal range and control.
