Biography

Geert Huinink, full name Geert E. Huinink, is a Dutch trance music producer and composer.

He is known for his close collaboration with Tiësto between 2001 and 2007, contributing to the writing of Tiësto’s first album, In My Memory, as well as the albums Just Be and Elements of Life. Co-written tracks include Magik Journey, Forever Today, A Tear In The Open, and Elements of Life.

In 2008, he also co-wrote the track Imagine for the eponymous album by Armin Van Buuren.

His artistic activity is expressed through several aliases, including Noa Assembly. He has also released tracks under the name Tiësto and collaborated with artists such as Cor Fijneman and Daniël Stewart.

Outside the trance scene, Geert Huinink composed for Dutch television, notably for the program Meiden van de Wit in 2002.

His musical style is associated with trance, progressive trance, and epic trance.
